Congratulations to the winners. I read every poem, and it was hard to choose just one. It was truly great to start writing poems again. I just want to say, "great job", to everyone.

Congratulations to the winners (of which I was not included amongst ...again :). This was a very tough voting month for me: I had pinned about 145 poems and had to go back and read them all again. Each entry had something special and heartfelt. Several were just flat-out bizarre (felt like flashbacks to the 60's :). Thanks for sharing a little piece of yourselves.

Thoroughly read each poem and voted, though it was hard to choose just one. I’m grateful for this opportunity, and for others reading each entry too. Great job, everybody, and good luck!

Had entered my daughters poem here on her behalf. But ended up enjoying every poem. It’s such a nice forum and great to see everyone encouraging efforts of their peers. Thank you poetry.com :)

I really hope every one who entered the contest takes the time to read every other submission...even if it takes the entire week and you vote on the last day. I used to think I only enjoyed 'writing' and not so much 'reading' other poetry; until I joined this site and realized there's an entire world of thoughts and emotions beyond my own. And so far I'm blown away with what I've read!

I totally agree with this great idea of yours. :) In my case, I make time to read all the entries and pin those poems that left a huge impact on me. From the pinned poems, I narrow them to 10, later on to 5. From the remaining 5, I pick the one that makes me wanna love poetry even more.

I'd love to see a 'feedback forum' at some point for anyone wanting to learn how to develop their writing skills. Sometimes we can become blinded by our own work and it might be helpful to get input from others. Good idea!

A lot of faith oriented material this time around. Trying really hard to be deep. Visiting the Romans Road…chapters five through twelve. Or repent, repent, repent. But sometimes DEEP is just focusing on a single selfless act or a kind smile or hand on the drooped shoulder. There is much in that.

This is the first time I’ve ever done this so I’m not sure if I’m out of my depth. So if anyone reads it then please give feedback.
