Seated He Seemed Complete

Delightful breakfast spot.
Saturday.
Lots of families.
He came in with shuffling
Bent over stick posture.
Leaning into the walker.
Large head, chest
And shoulders spoke of
Significant athletic ventures.
Quietly followed Son, daughter
Diminutive grand daughter.
Old Boy was all smiles.
No longer stooped point of focus.
Smile large, laugh large,
Hands large
Appetite for big brekky
And visit, registered large.
And this was four days
Before procedure
On lower back tumour.
Carpe diem.
Lord please intervene.
