Ava

Ashes slowly embrace the lake
As dawn begins to break
Remnants of once a living soul
Discovered the art of letting go
    Her name was Ava
    Prima ballerina
    Entire universe on her toes
    Delicate beauty like a rose
    A figure...

Gallery of Words

A quick grasp on her beloved pen
Same energy just like back then
Paper, ink, and a cup of tea
New horizon to explore and see
Cluster of words quite entangled
Voluntarily they just mingled
In search of their rightful place
Longing for a warm...

Hope you had an amazing Christmas as well. I look forward to read your new writings everytime I visit this page.

P.S.
Still not yet over about the imagery that your poem "I Was Just a Pawn" left in my head. Your use of words created such excellent visuals in my imagination.

This is the poem I voted for. :) I love how a sad concept was lively delivered. That's how it appeared to me. The rhyming words were comforting enough to overshadow loneliness itself. Such a good read.

I'm fortunate to come across someone who appreciates my works. And to hear those inspiring words coming from a good poet like you brought an extra dose of happiness.

Cheers to your well deserved win. I can now imagine the amazing poems about to be created beside that cup filled with your favorite drink. :)

It's quite funny how life could play a trick, that in someone's poetry every bit of emotions rightfully stick. Your writing is indeed worth reading. :)

The time machine effect was well presented that it made me feel like I actually traveled in time to experience something great as I read this one. Definitely a mood lifter.

Your poems pierce through the heart but it was so well written and beautifully conveyed that even with the presence of pain, I'll still stay it was a good read.

This poem contains the exact amount of elements needed for it to be considered a work of art. Keep the good writing going please.

I'm not quite sure but I think I made a mistake. I'm trying to click 5 stars but it's not working and suddenly it worked out of blue but looks like it was 3 stars that had been clicked? (not sure though) I tried to click 5 stars again but I was informed that I am only allowed to vote once. If that's exactly what had happened, I would like to sincerely apologize for my mistake. But rest assured that your work deserves 5 stars and there's no doubt about that.

Your comment made my day. It instantly brought a smile to my face. I'm just new to the community but to be honest I really love your poem - Foggy The Cat. Didn't get the chance to vote since I wasn't able to join the competition last month but when the results were out, I wanted to leave a comment on your poem but still not sure if I'll be welcomed well. Thanks for ensuring that I will be, I'll surely leave a comment anytime soon. Would love to read it again although I already did a few times. :)

Hi, grateful for your one of a kind gesture in terms of offering me a helping hand. I did appreciate it a lot. But glad to say, I was able to ask help from my older sister regarding this matter. In that case, my poem is now included for this month's competition and I'm quite excited to read all the entries. Hope you'll remain the nice person you already are. The world needs more of you. Thank you so much again. :)

Hi, thanks a lot for your well appreciated response. I tried everything I can, but as of now, I'm still stuck in a certain page and I still couldn't push through with my payment. If I won't be able to make it work, I might just borrow a card from someone I know.
