The Calm Before The Storm

I set sail on a bright sunny Day.
No, swells or clouds in my way.
Just me and the sea,
together in harmony.
My sails are up, the wind at my back.
My course is charted and I’m on track.
Predicting smooth sailing and calm seas.
But the sea is as unpredictable as he can be.
The waves start to roll
and the tide starts to turn.
Then my sails are set on fire
the boat starts to burn.
No life line, no help, no safety to be found.
I'm screaming "Mayday" but I don’t hear a sound.
My S.O.S has fallen on deaf ears.
I feel like I've been in this storm for years.
I can’t reach my life boat,  with out feeling
another blow.
This is not how this voyage,
was supposed to go.
The mighty ocean attacks with all his might.
I can not stand, I can not fight.
He roars and thrashes, and everything thing around me crashes.
He keeps me down with wave after wave.
I think I've found my bottomless grave.
I beg and plead for his waves to stop.
But all I can hear is pop, pop, pop.
The pop of the wood, my boat is
falling apart.
My voyage was doomed from the very start.
I should have seen the skies and charted the stars.
I could have avoided all the scars.
The sea and his anger,
the sea and his wrath.
I chatred directly in to his path.
All his anger and all the Rage.
Keeps my heart in a cage.
 The tide has turned
 the storm has passed.
My torment has stopped at last.
The sails are gone, my boat is broken.
Barely alive the silence has spoken.
The sun is out, the waves are small.
The pain from the sea is all I can recall.
Now the ocean is nice and his
waves are calm.
But another storm is brewing  And will be here before long.
I've battend down my hatches.
My boat has some stractches I’ve survived the first swell. I can handle another aswell. My body beaten and bruised. I look to Jesus for He is my refuge.

Wow, what an incredible and powerful depiction of a voyage at sea! Your use of descriptive language truly transports the reader into the heart of the storm. Although there were challenges and obstacles along the way, your determination and strength shone through. You never gave up, even when it seemed like all hope was lost. Your resilience in the face of adversity is truly inspiring. Keep setting sail and charting your own course - the next adventure is waiting just beyond the horizon!

Wow, this poem takes the reader on a tumultuous journey with its vivid imagery! The use of figurative language really helps to paint a picture of the intense emotions experienced during such a traumatic event. The transition from the bright and sunny start of the voyage to the unpredictable and dangerous open sea is incredibly powerful.

In terms of improvement suggestions, I would say that perhaps the poem could benefit from a more consistent rhythm throughout. While it's understandable that the chaos of the storm might affect the pacing of the poem, adding more structure and consistency to the flow of the words could help to emphasize the contrast between the calm and the chaos. Additionally, it might be interesting to explore further the emotions and thoughts of the narrator throughout the poem - what are they feeling and thinking as the events unfold?

Overall, this is an engaging and thought-provoking piece of poetry with powerful imagery and themes. Well done!
