Daughters

Daughters, daughters the eyes of your soul
They fill your heart without your control
They grow up loving there mom
Puberty hits the sound of alarms
You pray, you fast, you kneel before God
You pray for wisdom not to make their life hard
You don't want to see them fall into your mistake
You learned hard lessons for goodness sake
They see you as  outdated do not respect your mind
Say many words that are simply unkind
They think your old and what they are doing is new
Little do they know some of that used to be you
They tear your heart in a million pieces
Disappointment for so many reasons
You smile go on as if you don't see
Trying to keep some form of relationship desperately
They know longer listen they are out in the world
The world is Satan so many sins he unfolds
The schemes of the devil are wicked beyond
I wish I could wave a magic wand
I use the battle of prayer I pray all the time and everywhere
You won't understand the heartbreak of a child
Ungrateful attitudes speak so loud.
You made so many mistakes along the way.
Their best interest always your reaction based
Bottom line you've already seen the slime how horrible the world can be and so unkind. You've seen the damage and the pain.
Things people willing to do to you will make you go insane. Your try your best to stop the train. Only of being accused as old fashioned and inhumane. Wisdom comes by years of suffering. This is what I'm trying to buffer. To shield you from a messed up warped mind this world not nice and it's not fine. I pray 1 day that you will see you live with a warrior, a batteler that's me. Take what I did right and what I did wrong. Build on it and you be strong. When you were born I gave you all back to God. I'm confident you will return to your faith in God. It hurts it cuts just like a knife. To watch a train you've derailed many times. But sometimes it seems Destined to run its course. Noting for a mom is more painful and worse. Just know every comment I make that you don't want to hear. I do out of love and I do out of fear. See i know how messed up I got trying to experience life without knowledge. Wisdom not acquired just going through college. It's trials and tribulations that mold and shape you. Sadly enough they scar you too. I'm trying to stop some of those scars so you're minds won't be mashed potatoes fill off scars. My heart is dying day by day. My wisdom taken for granted. I'm just in the way.
My son is like the forgotten soldier. He holds everything in like he's a bolder. I pray I get on my knees and weep. Praying for God your souls for him to keep. Praying that he will walk with you. Encamp God angels all around you. Protect you under his wings. Bring to your mind the songs we would sing.....in church. I know I can't live your lives for you. I'm a praying mom. This holds true. I wish you world stop seeing my wisdom as me telling you what to do. I'm already messed up why would I want that for you? Enough said I'm going to end this poem. PLEASE take advantage of my wisdom before I'm gone. I don't have to be writing this right now. I could not if God did not allow. I love you all endlessly. Heartbreak seems to be my destiny.
