	Well at least they are offering a monetary award this year for the prize. I had to suggest a plaque with the poem of the year on it so I could receive recognition for last years contest. 	I awoke this morning, washed my face and got a cup of coffee and my laptop. Voting day was here. I spend the next 3 hours reading all the submissions. Then I pin the ones that tickle my fancy so I may reread them. I chose Mother's Day because the poet did such a marvelous job of portraying and lifting up his mother and all the good fascists of her personalities, The poem had a good flow and rhyme and left me thinking, what a nice job this poet has done... more » 11 months ago	View

	I submitted a poem earlier but it has not been put on the summary page. I believe submitting early gives one a better chance of being read as very few take the time to read all of the submitted poems so being one of the first to join is beneficial. more » 1 year ago	View
