Seeking Soulmate

I want to come and carry you away
Away from those long lonely nights
I know you're out there waiting for me
To come take away your frights.

We all fear having to live alone
When we have so much to share
We need so bad to care for someone
But even more we need someone to care.

To feel the love that powers our soul
The one that makes you lose control
To take everything we both own
Put it together,
 and call it home.....

About this poem

We all have that special person waiting to become our best friend, lover and companion. We only have to search.

I admire how simple those lines are yet so meaningful. :)

Thank you for your comment on my poem. This was just one of my older poems so I didn't enter it into a monthly contest. I wanted to share it with this great poetic community I have found here...
