Poems »

Thank you for welcoming me to this community. I was born in Cuba but emigrated with my family to the US when I was three. I am mother to three young adults now, and also a grandmother. I’ve been writing for years, some I share, others I still keep in my personal file. I often write of struggles for we all face them as we journey through life. But still, I feel peace knowing I try my best. Feel blessed to have been given the gift of writing which I strive to improve cause there’s always room for growth.

You know what scares me Gisela is finding a mate. I don't think I can handle all that comes with it. I like my solitude. I wouldn't know what to do. That's my biggest fear.

Just to give you an idea you can use your own ink stamps of Angels or whatever you like.

I sent you one of the poems I did at the library in Old English. I don't know how this work but it's on the bottom of this letter.

Your poems are too good for this site they should be in a book.

That is very kind of you. I have all of my work printed and made into a book, just can't seem to find a good place to have the actual book published.

Buy a nice leather case from Amazon and go to the library and print them out in Old English or French style that's what I used to do and I still have all of them. They come out beautiful. I used to use vintage looking paper then you right your book.

That poem I made in the palm of your hand. I have to be at a scar that's upon my heart. I see a great poem in there. But for me I won't go there.
