God's Word is all I desire,
His Word stirs, compels, even when I tire
quick and immediate, palpable, living,
it cuts, exposes, reveals, lifts thought higher.

I pray for wide and broad vision
for quietude, patience, endurance,
I am tired to be always in a trial,
God, Your grace is greater than failure,
let love be a law within, carved in fire.

Still shall I be, still, my soul in living streams to rest,
twilight and dawn, one circle of Life, one bequest,
looking upward, holding on to His rod, His staff,
in timeless embrace, my journey unfolds on His path.

I love that God's words have that effect on you even when tired. " "Grace greater than failure" paints a picture of hope.
"Let love be a law within" that guides us all. Thanks for sharing this great piece. Please continue writing.
