Analysis of The Face of Hate and Fear
Tammara Cappellano 1958 (Vancouver, Wa)
There’s so much going on today,
When it comes to human rights.
It seems that we have lost our voice,
And now we have to fight.
With all the senseless killings,
That leave us pain & hurt,
When will mankind understand,
We share this soil we call Earth.
I only know deep in my heart,
That anger sets a tone. All the yelling from our mouths,
Causes us to stand alone.
The greatest power we possess,
Comes from within our mind.
To fight against injustice,
Can be stronger you might find.
Fight for being human. For what the truth should be.
Fight to stand up for your rights.
In a way the world will see.
Not to say be “Passive”, More so to show you’re smart.
Don’t let sorrow drown your voice,
That’s where we all should start.
My voice will not be silenced.
My voice will never fade.
Let’s all stand together, To make sure that change is made.
There’s too much hate and anger,
That spills out in the street.
Wouldn’t it be wonderful,
To make friends with those we meet?
Our voice is strong when quiet.
And drowns within a crowd.
Our message really can’t be heard,
If it’s screamed and yelled aloud.
Making changes needed,
Need to be thought out.
So, when we meet the challenges,
We’ll succeed without a doubt.
