The Poet in the MIrror

TommyD 1957 (Ft. Lee)

The Poet in the Mirror

There I am in reflection found
A pictured story , temporarily bound

Escaping the frenzies and anxiety attacks ,
That help me deal with those frivolous facts.

Gifted intellect is drawn from me near ,
Emotional anxiety , breeds to the fear ...

Of never knowing what to expect ,
When twists and turns do magnify wrecks

So there I am choosing , what I shall see
When thoughts and expressions , realize me

Confusion leaves , notions become clearer
To be the best Man , I can , in the Mirror

Great work, Tommy. Keep it coming, bro. I have something similar called The Game and you caught my attention with looking in the mirror.

Congrats on kicking cancer’s ass. Stay strong.
