When Sadness Visits

WHEN SADNESS VISITS

A knock on minds door , had me wondering who
Was there now to visit , as I opened to view

A strange kind of feeling , that I now can recall
That sparks this emotion , from my memories hall

It depresses my heart , and it makes it beat fast
And I Pray that it's visit , will soon be my past

It darkens the light , that I need in my life
It leads to emotions , rekindles the strife

Why life sometimes gives us , and the doors that we choose
To learn a sad lesson , as we open to view

We all search for something , and hope and we Pray
That the doors that we choose , will not gloom the bright day

I now try and find , that the lesson I learn
Will lock all the doors , and the knob cannot turn
