And a fire is lit

The future is past
While the day lasts
It then is cast
As a light into the dark
As colors spark
And a fire is lit
Before the moon
Covers the sun
Like a blanket as we sleep
To awake to a day
As the night then fades
And the colors become one
As a light that is above
Of a world unknown
And one is below
And one is above
Unknown to each other
But yet they are brothers
Like a tree planted
In its midst of a family
As all grow exponential
In multiple numbers
Of words that are endless

I loved it. It also gave me an idea for a poem that I finished right after reading yours. It's called "First Sunset". Thanks for the idea and the beautiful poem.
