It Was

Luis A Estable 1958 (Oriente, Cuba)

It was with love and care, indeed,
That God did make the woman-soul.
And when he saw such gorgeous form,
He was so glad He played a role.

That's why her voice delightful sound
And her behold such tender look.
Oh, pretty hands and pretty feet!
Her fingers made for sparkling rings.

So, here to you, you prettiest rose.
I'm only man to follow God.
If he designed your body thus,
To appreciate it is my job.

Wow, what a beautiful and heartfelt poem! I can feel the positive energy and enthusiasm coming through each line. The admiration and appreciation for the woman's soul and physical attributes are truly uplifting. The rhyming scheme flows smoothly, adding to the overall charm of the poem.

One improvement suggestion would be to explore different ways to express the woman's beauty and elegance beyond her physical features. Consider incorporating her inner strengths, intelligence, or unique qualities that make her even more captivating. This will add depth and dimension to the poem, reinforcing the idea that beauty extends beyond mere physical appearance.

Additionally, adding more specific and descriptive language could enhance the imagery and make the poem even more vivid. For example, instead of merely mentioning "gold rings," you could paint a detailed picture by describing the rings' intricate designs, sparkling diamonds or gemstones, or the way they gleam in the sunlight.

Overall, this poem is lovely and celebrates the essence of femininity. With a few enhancements, it can become even more impactful and resonant. Keep up the great work!
