Quantum Rebel

Time doesn’t exist outside of Now.
It’s forever in flux, that I can vow.
In each moment is an arborized reality.
Thoughts, words, emotions; an infinite finality.

We all create branches toward each end.
Every utterance either breaks or bends.
The timeline was linear, the verse was uni.
Now I create any verse in multiplicity.

Cautious and cognizant of what I create,
How do I choose which timeline to negate?
I am the ratio, an infinite Golden Spiral.
I’m quantized and possibly my own greatest rival.

I want the best and highest good for all,
But am I really letting the worst timelines fall?
I’m aiming for the highest frequency,
Yet also shifting sometimes without decency.

The aftermath of fighting for mankind
Is what I thought would end in the sublime.
I fought the system by hitting self-destruct,
Following a lure that said “This, I instruct.”

For everyone I loved, I threw everything away.
Wish I could travel to the past and choose to just stay.
Fake activists bark and I chose to bite.
The world looked stark, so I stood up to fight.
But I should’ve just kept my head in the sand
And chosen not to bite that feeding hand.

I was on the path of my crown, lit and flowering.
In hindsight, I am a clown in a fit of just cowering.
I can only focus on my life,
Because changing the world only ends in strife.

I let my pride get in my way,
And that is the devil I killed today.
I’ve tried to be the one that’s strong
But I let that battle go on too long.

Today I broke down,
My life has dissolved.
Tired of wearing this frown,
I seek to be absolved.

Felt gazed upon by the eye that is spying,
But these last few years has felt like I’m dying.
F*ck the Shepard because he made me weak.
Regardless of perspective, I am only a sheep.

My vision skewed in an altered state,
Now I don’t know the direction of my fate.
I pray my perception begins to abate.
The Hell I see, please dissipate
Because I don’t want to stay in a world that I hate.

Convinced I was spiritually evolving,
Maybe it’s the tech I’m now involving.
That’s a hypothetical because I’ve become hypocritical.
At least I’ve learned to not take things literal
And definitely not be so very cynical.
I co-create all but barely my trajectory,
I wish I could see my lives’ directory.

About this poem

This is about the non-existence of Time and how it can speed up or slow down depending on an Observer's perception. This also gives rise to the idea of Quantum Psychology (Robert Anton Wilson + Tim Leary) and consciously choosing which reality to live in. In other words, the observer is warring against a Dystopia and decides to force himself to change his perception of the world and access the multiverse in an effort to align with a more harmonious timeline of reality.
