For all the time I dreamt the day of seeing you
Rehearsing every word in my mind doing a review
Unable to process ; body seems to come to a stop every time
Something about you makes my chain reaction go out of line

Everything seems perfect as usual coming from inside my head
A simple thing like asking you out seems somehow complicated...
Kept imagining and focusing about what can go wrong
Instead of taking a leap of faith and see where we belong
Must've taken so much defeats that I've lost touch on how to live
The world is filled with hate that's it's hard to see the positives and believe

Trying to cast aside the negativity and shed new light
All is lost the moment I no longer have the will to fight
Live in the moment as a good friend once told many times before
You'll never know what's lies ahead or what's god plan has in store
A simple rejection shouldnt be the end of my love story
But maybe a sign that she wasn't the one intended for me
