Dark soul

A little broken-hearted but that's not something new to me
The latest fail was unsurprising since it was a one-sided fantasy
I always knew the outcome but wanted to try it anyway
Must've set it on hard mode because I keep being slayed  

My heart still beating after that massive setback
Gained some experience needed to level up back
Even the most experienced fighters had some miscue early on
They hardened their armours after they all respawned

Mind a little shattered but not completely out of the game
Just need to change tactics and avoid being aimed
Eventually, I'll get used to seeing the patterns come into play
It's never easy to learn and every player game a different way.

What works for someone doesn't mean it'll work for me
Need to learn the basics first before setting myself free
Maybe ask some friends for advice and where/how to begin
Taking some much needed time off before I start my quest again.
