Crossroads

Crossroads

I'll miss the way we used to kiss the way you looked at me every emotion felt
Time stop every time you enter the scene in slow motion makes my heart melt
Someday maybe a fateful encounter would ignite the flames once more
And wash away my sadness kick it outside and shut the door

For the pain still lingers inside me it's almost insufferable
Tired of feeling weak can't do a thing being this miserable
Mind in a state of daze thoughts flowing like a wild hurricane
Lost between time and space only thing real is this pain

Your face won't go away for some time because you were the sun to my moon
The gentle atmospheric rain pouring on a summer afternoon
Every day without no end no one ever made me feel this way
That's why replacing you is not an easy thing for me to say

Maybe that's a good thing because you don't want to repeat the same mistakes
Every person is different lots of variety to chose from new promises to make
Heart skips a beat when that person walks by turning heads looking my way
For now, I'll just accept you as my past memory and look upon another day
