New Truth Old Lie
Tabitha J. Bryson 1973 (Indianapolis, Indiana)
No more pain
no more fear
you've lost your power
I no longer care
I'm now alone
my life is mine
just as it has been
all this time
but now I know this truth
I admit it here
I'm actually glad of this
shed not a tear
my strength is mine
though you taught it to me
regardless of it all
I'm glad to be free.
