La Luna

Tabitha J. Bryson 1973 (Indianapolis, Indiana)

La Luna is my heart's guide
shining brilliantly with all her glory
in the dark, quiet sky
I sense her peace
I embrace her beauty
just as lover's kiss nearby
Her faint smile is hard to detect
but I see her grin as the clouds pass
glistening as bright as any lass
I inhale her quaintness
with the deepest respect
La Luna.....my Goddess of the night
bless me fully with your simplistic beauty
your divine soul I beg to acquire
while I wile away the hours
I feel your beams a they embrace me
dearest Luna...hold my thought
on that of which is so incredibly beautiful....
give me the neverending desire to be like you.
