My Fantasy

My heart doesn't seem to mind that you are a stranger
someone that I'll never really know
but as I lie here in bed
I imagine you lying beside me
A dreamy fantasy...I can't let go
I feel your warmth caress me
you hold me & cover me warm
I see the light of love within your eyes
and feel myself reborn
but yet you are a dream
a reality that shall never be
but even after all this time
I still crave & lust your fantasy
if I ever were to meet you
would I still need you and love you just the same
or would the reality of you
frighten me away
I ponder these thoughts
as I look over to my side
though you are my fantasy
