Analysis of The lonesome death of Tyler Townsend
Paul Marauder 1962 (Belfast)
Xmas eve 2020 was the coldest night for
a decade.
And a harbinger of doom for anyone without
shelter
Tyler Townsend was one of the unlucky ones
not to get refuge from the artic weather.
As he trudged his broken body through the
broken streets, despair clung tightly to him like a straight jacket.
He cut a forlorn and desolate figure with his long stringy yellow hair looking like angel hair pasta hanging from a plate.
Tyler sat down in the doorway of a McDonald's.
He wrapped his sleeping bag tightly around himself.
He could feel the cold in his bones.
His ice cold hands that clung to life began
to loosen its grip until he was hanging by his
fingertips
As the clock struck midnight his fingertips slipped from the edge.
