Analysis of UPON A CRYSTAL WORLD
Crystal Piscine swim
In lakes of liquid oxygen,
On some distant world.
Crystal cities rise
Way up into the sky,
Housing crystal beings.
Crystal people
Look like statues when asleep,
Look wonderful awake.
Crystal women
More gorgeous by far
Than any models here on Earth.
Crystal children are
Like beautiful glass dolls,
Too fragile to dare touch.
Crystal pets run free
Within the crystal towers,
Which sing in the wind.
Crystal woods hold
All manner of dangers,
Even for crystal people.
Crystal animals
Shriek like breaking glass,
Within the distant forest.
When nightfall comes
The crystal creatures stop,
Appearing just like statues.
Until break of dawn
When their lives resume,
And the towers sing in joy.
THE END
