PETTY PRIDE

Beautiful shame
from a cheap ego
of a fool and his fame
that wallows in tale till the moro.

He dephrayed all standard
in reward to his esense
like a drunk lad
who stooped for an easy pense.

Oh how petty this pride
that yet sting minds...

So she said...
a tale of her phobias...her story
those things that irked her
she told me
"I DARE NOT"...
or we would be myth

I earned her pass
she aired in trust
a token for a strength
perceived from within
rare to the game she abhors
...

THE PRICE IS HIGH BUT THE END IS NEAR

We see blood on the cheeks of those
who have buried their loved ones
who have died in the struggle
and we share their grief
and we know that...

"the price is high but the end is near..."

We see of this moment
justice still crumbling
...

essence i could gather
from nostalgic a folk tale
by my late aunt Anna.

The only known adorable tree
Igbankes 8th wonder of the world
before the tale she loved same tree
that served a landmark to her hut.
