PETTY PRIDE

Beautiful shame
from a cheap ego
of a fool and his fame
that wallows in tale till the moro.

He dephrayed all standard
in reward to his esense
like a drunk lad
who stooped for an easy pense.

Oh how petty this pride
that yet sting minds
who betrayed honors ride
in arrogance and its kinds.

A chance he crave
yet that chance he got
to quell and end the hearts rave
but dashed efforts to nought.

The bravado they abhor
how he knows too much
of jobs and task even beyond his shore
but this sect and not as such.

Addicted to his cross
self gait of exteem
too predictable a bait for the loss
that troubles the light yet dim.

My boss my theme
My tough and diligent mentor
My loyalty stands in rhythm
Even in your snaily detour.
