They Say

Who are they in the "They Say" we hear so often quoted?
Anonymous dictators are to power devoted.
Should we role-play since "They Say" our behavior isn't good?
Ostentatious conduct codes can frequently be withstood.
Is it okay since "They Say" that things are copacetic?
Punctilious principles can't be antipathetic.
Should we obey since "They Say" war is right for the country?
Blind allegiance to a cause can provide no guarantee.
Is it touche since "They Say" it was a successful point?
Personal jubilation can internally anoint.
Should we inveigh since "They Say" it's time for protestation?
Philosophical values decide which consternation.
Is it halfway since "They Say" there's fifty percent to go?
Completion of a project can be displayed as we grow.
Should we sashay since "They Say" let the dancing now begin?
Rhythmic hop, skip or shuffle can be choreographed within.
Who are they in the "They Say" invading our every space?
Ubiquitous controllers put on an amorphous face.
