Space Shuttle Columbia

The Columbia with crew
A mere material trace
Yet matchless courage and grace
Of Seven Heroes in space
Will in thoughtful minds imbue.
We contemplate the merit
Of your astronautic rolls;
The accomplished lofty goals;
Paid-up risk and danger tolls
We salute your grand spirit.
Though from life you have been torn
Your example will inspire
The bar is now set higher;
Great achievement to aspire
As world-wide the loss we mourn.
In awe and admiration
With each heart-beat you're held dear;
Our respect for you is sheer;
Your presence is ever near
Goodbye and salutation.
