Sweetheart

Poem

SWEETHEART

                        K.R.BALAKRISHNAN

If the eastern face of sky darkens
It surely will rain in torrents.
If  this face in front of me darkens
It's not for a rain
It's not for a rain.

If a lightning streaks through the clouds
It surely will bring a thunder.
If  this lightning in front of me streaks
It's not for any thunder
It's not for any thunder..

If plants and trees bear flowers
It surely shows the spring
If  this herb in front of me blossoms
It is for a spring perpetual
It is for a spring perpetual.
