Sensibilities

While each prophet steals away for solitude,
and follows forms of dictation wisked away;
These waning centuries of customs now depart,
with future hopes which fall in line then stray.

Their hardened hearts project the aching wills,
of meditating minds within each comfort zone;
Appearing lost their fateful dreams come to fruition,
when soulful spells cast out the careless drone.

Yet new life grows while ancient prophecies fade,
into a melting pot which overflows with fresh ideals;
And all the senses flourish under a vast umbrella,
of integrity's innate worth and honesty not repealed.

Thus hang on to sensibilities easily erased,
from weaker sources drowned in zealous force;
and cry from mountain tops their truthful legacies,
while living saints design each fruitful course.
