Despite your attempts
to murder me,
to rip out my strength,
and replace it with
 something much darker,
I live, and you die.

Your decisions
have led you
into a pit of despair,
a hollow drum of pity,
you have abandoned everyone
who just might pull you out.

As you sink deeper
into the quicksand
of your own choices,
all the ones you hurt
stand quiet around,
watching the end of a sad life.

All we ask for is
a sincere apology,
for you to tell us you were wrong,
and ask for the help you need,
yet, even that is too much
for your demon of pride.
