As a Whole
The Dusk has settled upon the world,
its twilight pulling all of humanity down,
down, down, further than the feet of Evil
had ever thought to tread.
With no exception, we beg for help
for redemption, for forgiveness,
shying away from the slimmest glimmer
of our own responsibility.
Lord knows what lies within these hearts,
and the tales spun by the trivial and significant alike
that stretched clearly from the beginning
and will continue ‘til this dreadful end.
Continuing this path,
we would refuse the very mention
of anti-secular thoughts,
and shun the beliefs of Sunday on Monday.
Your savior would not have the chance to live
here today, here now,
for tolerance has led us straight to judgment,
and nothing is taken seriously.
