Give Me Camelhair This Christmas

Go begging in this season holy
Search for a cure
That kills in us:indifference
Go beg in desolated streets
Tease ice-cold coins from frozen faces
With tales of charity twice-rewarded
By angels sent in Cashmere coats
To walk the winter streets observing
Faith,Hope,and Charity in practice
Tell them your dad is dying
Your children need a liver
Shiver with ungloved hand in taking coin
Take and cough a lot in taking
Seal hope in grateful tears upon your face
Bless them heavily this Christmas
Leave salty roadways on their cheeks
Hint how much they helped Then go
Hunched among the snowflakes falling
To make your daily bank deposit.
