Now shedding tears-lacking leaves
Naked in the gray-black Sun
The Chestnut and the Sycamore
Shaken by barrage
Yeilded to the fallen
A verdent blanket
Silent
Now the hedge-rows
Wait to cover
Fallen friend and foe
