Eternal Bliss



The little man in the wall asked me to fly.
Staring with a puzzled look, I asked why.
To find the truth of it you must go out.
I shook my head clearing it of all doubt.

To take that blind step forward is scary.
But, I have been broken down and weary.
So, stepping ahead I did indeed then do.
Falling, hitting the ground, splatting into goo.

Never even getting to say my final goodbyes.
From the hard ground, my soul began to rise.
As I passed him by, I asked why did you do this?
   Ah, he said, what I have given you is eternal bliss.
