Entangle

Love is a web
entangling to every heart
no-matter how large; how deep; how hard
simply not by a choosing but
by the yield of an ounce of emotion
just let go and see the way it goes or
inhale a scent of the others' sweetness or
listen to the melodies of the others' play or
the subtle overtures that sips attention or
perhaps fiddle with the choices attraction portray
yet its a wonderful thing;
a marvellous thing; an euphoric thing
can be a nostalgic thing; a melancholic thing
cos you can love and not be loved
or be loved and not love
love is foolishness not of a fool,
but of the entangled!

David Abraham

Here, an opportunity to say a big THANK YOU to ALMIGHTY GOD for giving me the gift of poetry, it is indeed a beautiful thing especially the positive energy of expression and the passion. I discovered my gift of writing and poetry quite early but only much later in my life did I start to put it to use. I was quite active in the old poetry.com and won one poetic pin, several poetic accolades and one of the poets of the year in 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007. Presently, am writing my second unpublished inspirational book and also putting together a poetic book due to be published later in the year. email address: mypoeticcareer@yahoo.com.
