Realisation

As today ushers out itself
In an unending routine for tomorrow
In a gradual nudge
Via the ticking of time
Observing the same principles
With the rhetorical weathers
In a continuous flow
Devoid of irregularities and blockades
For it was meant for so
That right way it sure goes

For some there is an inner urge
For a report
A productivity file
That a part of destiny
Has been handled
Irrespective of how good or bad
For life is a learning experience
A curve never ending
With no tail but always beginning
Usually from the day we saw bright
Or the day of awakening of consciousness

To the realities of good or bad
As we go on we thrive on our paths
Our given path by our maker
The hand that sent forth
Through a woman that brought forth
So we go on
Meeting barricade and obstacles
Taking mantles through hard work
Smart-work perhaps; the best
Discovering the best of endowments
To lean on; to forge on through

Running the rat race
Stretching the limits
To be in a mission or
Perhaps a co-vision of a team
Of people with the same goal
The same ideologies
That helps them flock as a team
Together with positivity
That success may abound
That self may be actualised

David Abraham

Here, an opportunity to say a big THANK YOU to ALMIGHTY GOD for giving me the gift of poetry, it is indeed a beautiful thing especially the positive energy of expression and the passion. I discovered my gift of writing and poetry quite early but only much later in my life did I start to put it to use. I was quite active in the old poetry.com and won one poetic pin, several poetic accolades and one of the poets of the year in 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007. Presently, am writing my second unpublished inspirational book and also putting together a poetic book due to be published later in the year. email address: mypoeticcareer@yahoo.com.
