Beginning

Kevin Marston



It's funny
How a relationship makes you think
Where you are
How you got there
And where the heck to go next?!
Pushing out all that “more important” stuff
Forcing the mind along unaccustomed paths
Late nights of drowsing time
                                   spent in thoughts of the other
And knowing
That it's time well spent.
Funny, isn't it?
