My Mirror

Greg Roundtree 1961 (Georgia)

My Mirror
I look into my mirror, and see the light that it does cast. On the reflections of my memories even from my distant past.
By looking in my mirror, at yesterday’s lost thought. I realize the path, of what I should have sought.
For my mirror does not compromise, its reflection draws me in. To perform examination, that reveals to me my sin.
So when I can’t quite see, what is really wrong or right. I bring it to my mirror and let it cast its light!
