Ride The Shooting Star

Ride The Shooting Star
I gravitate towards the positive I learn each day what's Right,
Spinning my wheels in reverse really got me nowhere fast.
I hesitate to feel anger in the shadows of the night,
Jumping to conclusions is never being able to get past.
I resonate with hunger so I feed knowledge to  my starving soul,
Growing in the anxiety inside for it's the garden I plant.
I have no genie in a bottle or even long to play a role,
so no wishes do I make since there's none to grant.
Ride the shooting star to the edge of the universe you see,
Rise above the challenges you face to become all you can be.
Ride the shooting star across the skies of your world,
Risk to get the reward don't let your emotions get hurled.
Rapture of the spirit it's the rocking of the soul within,
Captivated by Beauty living with the will to win.
resurrected by laughter dancing to the tune of your heart,
moving with the drumbeat looking for somewhere to start.
Remembering the memories of a lifetime filled with hope,
Leaning on the power so silent that helps me to cope.
Enduring are the expressions of my expectations to excel,
Doubts no longer ignite me roads lead me out of hell.
Ride the shooting star to heaven glance upon your destiny,
Rise to the competition chase your dreams to eternity.
Ride the shooting star to victory explore the realms of life,
Risk everything don't be afraid cut silence like a knife.
