Forever Rock In Peace
Donald James Kirby Von Koehler 1965 (Burien)
Forever Rock In Peace
It's hard to express the love I feel, for someone I never met,
To say to the world it's somebody I will never forget.
Yet,This person had so much influence on my life, like a part of me,
They were beyond talented on a level unequaled as of yet.
I have only felt this feeling once before the day John Lennon died,
having grown up to the Beatles music like a baby I cried.
and here I am again feeling like another brother is gone,
This is that memory that lasts forever never to move on.
Through the years many albums came out soothing my musical heart,
my favorite musicians are passing away and I'm falling apart.
My hat's off to you Neil may you Forever Rock in Peace,
You were always the best to me-Neil Rock In Peace.
The songs we have to carry your words to the end of time,
Geddy as the muse relaying to us your voice in every rhyme.
Though this day is a sad one Your memory will be good.
Your songs will bring us smiles again like you knew they would.
I can only believe as precise as you were you planned to leave a mark,
Like the words "some memories last forever" in Lakeside Park.
There may never be another drummer as talented as you,
and that is your legacy you were faithful and true.
I had to release this grief the tears that fall are much too real,
As if you were family yet, In my heart it's how I feel.
Neil This is dedicated to you may you Forever Rock In Peace,
For those that longed the best, you were,Rock In Peace.
Thank God for the internet your music will play on for years,
Your words will bring to life imaginations,Inspirations,& tears.
It's hard to believe you left so young-Forever Rock In Peace,
I highly doubt heaven will be resting as you Rock On In Peace.
