Soft pink petals dancing in the sun,
A new beginning, spring has begun,
Your radiant beauty brings me joy and peace,
God's richest blessings that never cease.
Everyone loves you cherry blossom tree,
You are a beautiful sight for all to see,
Your sweet fragrance fills the air,
And all I can do is stop and stare.
A few short weeks and your bloom has gone,
But my memory of you still lingers on,
Through the seasons until the following May,
Where you will bloom another day.
About this poem
A poem about a cherry blossom tree. It is also about how life is so fleeting and ends quickly but there is hope and the cherry blossom will bloom another day. Kim Hamilton
