The Lie Killer

Robert T. Davenport 1979 (Newark, New Jersey)

The Lie Killer
By Robert T. Davenport

In the realm of deception, where falsehoods reside,
I emerge as the truth-seeker, with unwavering stride.
With eyes sharp as daggers, I pierce through the veil,
As the lie killer, I expose the tales that assail.

In a world of illusions, where deceit runs deep,
I am the guardian of honesty, the secrets I keep.
With a sword of clarity, I cut through the lies,
Unmasking the deceptions, revealing the ties.

I am the lie killer, a warrior of truth,
Unafraid to confront the shadows of sleuth.
With every revelation, I dismantle the facade,
Exposing the manipulations, the charades.

I seek justice for the innocent, the ones deceived,
For truth is the weapon that they truly need.
I unravel the webs of deceit that entwine,
Restoring faith in honesty, like a sacred shrine.

But in my quest for truth, I must tread with care,
For lies can be cunning, they can ensnare.
Yet, I am relentless, my resolve unwavering,
To bring down the falsehoods, the lies enslaving.

For in the realm of truth, there lies liberation,
A sanctuary where honesty finds its foundation.
I am the lie killer, a beacon of light,
Guiding others towards truth, with all my might.

So let the lies tremble, let the truth prevail,
As I stand tall, the falsehoods I impale.
For in the depths of honesty, we find our way,
And the power of truth shall forever hold sway.
