Freedom is a Dream

Freedom is a dream that we all share,
A hope that we hold, a vision that's rare.
We seek it out, we yearn for its light,
We fight for it fiercely, with all of our might.

But sometimes the journey is long and hard,
And we find ourselves lost, in a world that's scarred.
We look to our leaders, to guide us through,
To show us the way, to help us renew.

But what happens when they lead us astray,
When they lie and deceive, when they lead us astray?
We feel lost and alone, we feel betrayed,
We wonder if freedom will ever be made.

But hope is a flame that never dies,
A light that shines bright, in the darkest of skies.
It guides us through, it shows us the way,
It gives us the strength, to fight another day.

let us hold on, to that flame of hope,
Let us stand together, let us learn to cope.
For freedom is a dream that we all share,
And together we can make it real, we can make it fair.
