In realms of old where shadows softly creep

In realms of old, where shadows softly creep,
A tale unfolds, of secrets buried deep,
A world so dark, where ancient whispers fly,
Where myth and lore beneath the moonlight lie.

In murky depths of time, a land now lost,
Where legends dwell, by mortal minds uncrossed,
A mystic realm, where dreams and nightmares blend,
A tapestry of tales, that never truly end.

Oh, dark and dreary realm of untold tales,
Where ancient beings roam through misty veils,
Their spirits linger, haunting each dark night,
Their presence felt, though hidden from our sight.

Through whispered winds, their stories still reside,
Oh, mythical realm, where secrets do confide,
A place of wonder, shrouded in mystique,
With every verse, its essence, I shall seek.

Within these lines, I paint a portrait true,
Of a realm unseen, but known by chosen few,
Its ancient wisdom woven in each line,
A glimpse of magic, in this sonnet I find.

So let us wander through this mythical land,
With open hearts, and minds ready to expand,
For in its darkness lies a beauty rare,
A world of wonder, waiting to ensnare.

Oh, dark and dreary, old and mythical,
Your secrets beckon, captivating all,
In poetry's embrace, your essence thrives,
Forever cherished, in these timeless lives.
