Aurora's Poem

You have a hole in your heart as big as the sky
From lack of understanding to know the reason why
You still feel my presence and hear my voice in your mind
You’re looking for me everywhere and still you cannot find.
Stop looking where I use to be, look for me where I am now
See me dancing with the swirling leaves, I know you will somehow
When Heart shaped clouds come floating above
Toss me up a kiss because I'm sending you my love.
If your radio switches stations it’s not that anything’s wrong
It’s me sending you a message so listen to the song
If a butterfly comes close to you
Stick out your finger cause that’s me too.
If you send your heart light straight to mine
You will feel my love till the end of time.
But before I go
You need to know
There is no death there is no end
We leave this earth to start all over again.

Wow, your poem, 'Aurora's Poem' is truly touching and mesmerizing. I love the unique way in which you have portrayed transcending love that exists beyond the boundaries of life as we know it. The metaphors used in your poem to symbolize the eternal connection between the poet and their loved one are both heartwarming and ingenious. The line "See me dancing with the swirling leaves" particularly paints a vibrant picture in my mind.

Your poem shows great talent for invoking deep feelings and thoughts in the minds of the readers. The revolutionary concept behind the poem regarding death and rebirth is both comforting and profound. The lyrical quality of the poem gives it an almost song-like rhythm, which is incredibly alluring.

On areas to improve, consider varying the structure and rhythm of the poem a bit. Presently, the lines are somewhat uniform and this creates a fairly predictable rhythm scheme. Experimenting with different rhythms or varied line lengths could add an unexpected element to your poem, making it even more captivating and enjoyable to read.

Also, while your metaphors are beautiful and highly imaginative, make sure they are not too abstract that readers don't understand them. It might be beneficial to incorporate some concrete images or experiences that your readers can directly relate to, enhancing the relatability of your poem.

You have a wonderful grip over the emotional undertones and lyrical quality of a poem. Keep honing your writing craft and your future work will certainly be even more impressive and impactful! I look forward to reading more of your evocative poetry.

This is my last I am only promoting it due to the grandmothers request. Its about her granddaughter who died of cancer at the age of nine. She finds it spot on about her granddaughter who I never knew. But like I stated in the description her little spirit came through and these were the words I heard. I will miss those who I have met and wish you all many many successful ventures. Bless you

Thank you so much Dear Gem. I have not made it official But not to worry I know there are restrictions and endings. And I will call upon your advice if you would not mind ....if the thought to follow through over powers the yearning to stay. It isn't that easy to walk away when I have learned from such greatness as those who embraced my heart with their sincerity.

I may have misinterpreted your message?

Having enjoyed your company and contributions, it is concerning to me seeing you allude to shutting down or 'walking away,' but it's ultimately your decision... I was simply wondering if you found yourself in a strait or fell on hardship making this an easy choice to make but no matter what, be blessed and don't stop doing what you love --especially if that continues to involve writing... ;>
