Searching For Some Minnows

I've fallen out of trees, I've fallen out of windows
Fell backwards down a waterfall searching for some minnows
I've fallen off of rooftops, fell feet first into a well
I've fallen up and down the stairs, don't ask and I won't tell
I seem not to fall as much when staying on solid ground
It's not that far to fall to and no airtime going down
There are times I have fallen repeatedly going into and out of
The most painful pain of all the pains as I fell in and out of love

About this poem

The title is the main reason I wrote this poem. I thought this has got to be the beginning of a great poem. I just started writing about all the times I have fallen.

I recall this from the July contest. It’s a great, jesting take on oneself while still squeezing in a bit of seriousness -it seems. Forgive me if I do not vote you some stars, sometimes I think the rating scale invalidates our creative expressions and misses the mark. Therefore, I will say, this entertained me and that is all I can ask for in a poem.
