Ebb and flow

The clouds, they moved with seem less ease,
Across the hills upon the breeze.
A wall of water gently fell in their wake,
It embraced the earth and kissed the lake.

The wind soon blew to caress the trees, And the sun shimmered down to dress the leaves.
From the lake to the river, the water swiftly moved,
From the river to the sea, where they both then fused.

The droplets of water now danced in the sea,
When the sea then sighed and set them free.
Up through the air with a timeless grace,
Once more in the sky, the clouds to embrace.
