Christ our Master
Adrift in the sea with no anchor to hold,
Left to the storm, the wind, and the cold.
The waves billow round in the blackness of night,
Sin takes the helm with no heed to our plight.
Then comes the Master who the waves obey,
Bringing the dawn and the brightness of day,
Grace takes the helm and sin must surrender,
To Christ our anchor, hope and defender.
