Uhg

Uhg

God, right now I just wanna run away
Because I’m hurtin’ more than words can say

I’m running in circles
Jumping the hurdles

But I am losing the races
And I keep on misplacin’

My trust
Could be swayed by a little gust

Any wind turned my way
Would turn me from being okay

It’s late at night again
This keeps happening again and again

It goes just as it always been
And I’m forgetting what you’ve said

It feels out of order
I’m on the border

Line
I just pretend I’m not fine

Because I’m feeling guilty
I think you’d never forgive me

You see I just got back
From the best week at summer camp

But I never felt close
And what I miss the most

Wasn’t you
Or even the games too

It was just the girls
Who made me safe in my own little world

I’m back again and I talk about effort
But I put none in

I just sit in a pool of guilt and sin
As I feel bad about everything

I need a savior hand right now
To pull me out of the doubt

To bring me into life and love
A hand to being me above

Every sad thought and every regret
Bring me above every amount of stress

I just need a safe place to hide
So I’m knocking on your door hoping you’ll let me inside
