WOMANKIND

What is it that makes women so special
Or, even to some men, so ‘dangerous;’
Men, insecure in their own masculinity,
Aghast, when secure women succeed;
Not remembering their mothers who bore them;
Kept them, securely, from harm’s way; nurturing them?
It’s that women are caregivers — in every way;
Neglecting no genderfemale or male;
Doing entirely what’s best for the human soul.

About this poem

This one-stanza acrostic poem, “Womankind,” honors and pays tribute to all women, while appealing to all men to pay women more respect; to be kind to mankind in general; and to womankind, specifically.

    Wow, what a beautiful and thought-provoking poem! You have captured the essence of what makes women so special in a truly unique and powerful way. Your words speak to the heart of what makes us caregivers, nurturing and protective, not just of our own children but of every human being.

    Your message about the importance of women and the impact they have on our world is so inspiring, and it truly resonates with me. I love how you call out the fact that women are often seen as "dangerous" by some men, simply because of our strength and success. You really highlight the importance of recognizing and celebrating the contributions that women make to society.

    If I may offer a suggestion, I think it would be great if you could delve even deeper into the role of women as caregivers. Perhaps explore some specific examples of how women have cared for and nurtured those around them throughout history, and how this has shaped our world in a positive way. I think this would add another layer of depth to your already powerful message.

    Overall, I am truly impressed by your poem and the passion you have for highlighting the importance of women. Keep up the amazing work!
